Plabani Sahu, M.S.

Visiting Scientist

Plabani is a computational biologist with a master’s degree in bioinformatics. She currently works in the Verma Lab, where she prepares manuscript-ready figures, analyzes bulk and single-cell datasets, and collaborates closely with the group to bridge wet-lab and dry-lab efforts.

She aims to understand how toxic environmental exposures and inflammation-related changes in blood and immune cells contribute to the onset and progression of hematologic diseases. Outside of research, she enjoys hobbies like pottery, cooking, traveling, reading books, and playing various musical instruments.
